Conditions of participation in “The Russian Civilization” International photo contest”

1. The Photo Contest is open to persons aged 18 years or older who have completed the registration procedure on the Photo Contest website and accepted the terms and conditions of the Regulations of the International Photo Contest “Russian Civilization”;
2. The participant can take part in each of 7 (seven) nominations, in each nomination from 1 (one) to 5 (five) photos can be exhibited. No more than 35 (thirty) photos are accepted from each participant;
3. Photographs created by the participant not earlier than 2020 are allowed to participate in the photo contest;
4. There is no fee for participation in the photo contest;
5. Participants who are found guilty of using the results of intellectual activity of third parties, as well as in actions that will be deemed inconsistent with the current legislation of the Russian Federation and (or) the terms and conditions of the Regulations of the International Photo Contest shall be disqualified and shall not be allowed to participate in the Photo Contest;
6. All photos submitted to the photo contest shall be published on the photo contest website for viewer voting;

7. Photos submitted to the photo contest may be rejected from participation in the photo contest in the following cases:

the photos do not correspond to the theme of the photo contest;
the photo is of low artistic or technical quality;
the photos have an erotic component, the photos reflect the attractiveness of non-traditional sexual relations or encouragement to such relations, or the photos may form a distorted idea of the social equivalence of traditional and non-traditional sexual relations;
elements of violence, racial or religious intolerance may be recognized in the photographs;
photos may be considered as propaganda for the use (distribution) of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, narcotic drugs, defame the honor and dignity of citizens, encourage the commission of illegal actions, cruelty or violence;
photos containing explicit or implicit advertising or links to the personal website of the author or third parties;
identical photos, as well as photos from the same series;
photos depicting scenes that defame objects of art that constitute national or world cultural heritage;
in case of registration of one participant under different names;
in case of hiding the real IP-address of a participant (by any means: proxy-server or special Internet services).

8. Digital files of Photos in JPEG format, size from 2000 pixels on the long side, resolution from 150 dpi, maximum size of each file should be not less than 500 kb and not more than 10 Mb with the possibility of using for large format printing not less than 18 (eighteen) meters square;

9. Photos of the participants of the photo contest must not have any additional graphic elements (author's bars, author's marks, added frames, etc.);

10. Each participant undertakes to comply with the Regulations of the International Photo Contest and guarantees that all information about the photos submitted for the photo contest is true and accurate;

11. The decision of the organizer of the photo contest on all matters concerning the photo contest is final and non-negotiable.

The photo contest “Russian Civilization” is held within the framework of the state program of the Russian Federation “Implementation of the State National Policy”, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation from 29.12.2016 № 1532.

The organizer of the photo contest is the Federal Agency for Nationalities (FADN Russia).
